 Mongoose is a creative joint between Joy and Sebibass. With many years of musical experience between them in various bands, they were both keen on breaking out of their comfort zones and digging deeper into their creative attitudes so they could come up with something regroovably different from what they'd done before."Tune Me", masterpiece for a debut album will surely place them in the limelight. As producer, Sebibass was seeking for a sound that would set the bar high. The result is a tight album with no fillers that is listeneable from the first to the last track, even though there are a number of hit songs like Favourite Flavour, Tune Me, Head like A Zoo or Boy. Particularly striking is that even though one can detect diverse influences, Mongoose's music is an imitation to none!
The music they came up with can be defined as funky laced with a touch of rock and electro-pop beats, complemented by a smooth jazzy soulful voice. It's ambition is to be groovy and hold down wicked bass lines, inciting people to either embrace it in a chilled manner or to dance and embody the cheerful spirit of funk.
