Avec des influences allant des Ramones au MC5 en passant par les Sex Pistols ou bien entendu les Clash (dont ils reprennent "White Riot" en concert) le groupe prend toute sa dimension sur scène au milieu des amplis vrombissants et du fracas sonique. Attention! S’ils débarquent chez vous, sauvez vos guéridons ! Sport Doen ça joue fort, Sport Doen ça joue vite. Bref, c'est du foutu rock'n'roll. Sport Doen c'est bientôt chez vous.
IAMX (or I Am X) is a solo project of Chris Corner, the ex-vocalist and founder of Sneaker Pimps. Consisting of highly dark, erotic, 1980s-influenced electro, the debut album Kiss and Swallow was released in 2004. Chris' rolling live line-up has included Sue Denim and Dee Plume from Robots in Disguise, James Cook from Nemo and both halves of The Mighty Boosh, Noel Fielding and Julian Barratt. IAMX' second album, The Alternative was released in April 2006 in Europe.
At the release, Stop Talking went directly 14th in the Belgian charts. The single “I don’t want to have sex with you” was called “summer hit ” by the media and the fans. This single entered directly number 1 in two important Belgian radios.
Showstar is a rock band. They’ve started playing music ten years ago in a small garage somewhere in Belgium. Their first album, « We are ready » (2003), was highly acclaimed and gave the band a good reason to work hard on their second effort. The less we can say is that they achieved their goal when you listen to «.» (say « Dot ») !
Originating from Montpellier in the south of France, SCORCH has been evolving in the last ten years in a mingled style of Metal Fusion mixed with Groove. After a first album in 2003 and an EP out in 2005, both unanimously acclaimed by the press in the know, the band are now an integral part of the French Metal scene. SCORCH have also built themselves a rock solid live background with over 150 dates performed around France and Belgium, proving this to us with shows our physical senses have never quite recovered from… to sample with a pinch of sweat.
My Little Cheap Dictaphone sprung from the minefield of talent that is JauneOrange, a collective of Belgian musicians who work ogether to self-produce albums, organize music festivals and help promote touring bands. In 2002, My Little Cheap Dictaphone released their first studio album "*Music Drama*", produced and recorded by Mike Mogis (Bright Eyes, The Faint, Cursive, Azure Ray). They were all over magazines, radio and television, with 2 singles garnering frequent radio airplay as well as the appearance on MCM of the popular video "Ukranian girl".
Born end 2002 after a digital encounter between Yeti Popstar and Lizzie Stardust, Velvet Underwear. Started as a classic electro-pop band but their big no-fi tendencies quickly brought them to make more noisy stuff.
Years ago, between a car crashing in a swimming pool and a throwing of a television from the balcony of a hotel room, could The Who have imagined that while releasing their more famous album, they had just baptized a new-born baby, hundreds of kilometers from there? This is however what happened when his parents, fans of the group, decided to name their boy and future songwriter, Tommy.
