 Hervé Meschinet is a well-known flute and saxophon player in French Jazz world.
He played with Pierre Michelot, Ricardo Del Fra, Daniel Humair, and Michel Legrand big band, Paris Jazz Big Band, participated to Henri Salvador's album “Chambre avec vue”. He also created with Gilles Renne (guitarist) and Philippe Petit (organist) “Myster Hyde” band. Hervé Meschinet also created in 1996 his own quartet and received in 1998 a Django d'or for his albulm “Cannonblues”. In this second album, Hervé Meschinet gives importance to flute. True to himself he never forgets swing or melody and his game highlights his creations or his musicians' ones (Alfio Origlio –piano- and Gilles Renne –guitar).
