At the release, Stop Talking went directly 14th in the Belgian charts. The single “I don’t want to have sex with you” was called “summer hit ” by the media and the fans. This single entered directly number 1 in two important Belgian radios.

The media showed immediately a huge interest in Soldout. The band got LOADS of interviews and very good articles in the magazine, the newspapers and also on national television.

On stage it’s not just an electro-pop band. The energy during the shows is getting very authentic, letting other rock band well behind!
The audience is submerged by the emotion and energy that they offer, with charlotte’s voice, which is naïve or hysterical.

Soldout is an atypical project due to their style, their influences (PJ Harvey, Pink Floyd, Catpower, Depeche Mode, Peaches, White Stripes, Radiohead…) and their audience, which brings together the fan of electronic music, rocknroll, metal, or house music.

Charlotte and David started music a long time ago.
Charlotte started with classical music during many years, and the study of guitar brought her to rock music and jazz. David started directly with electronic music with a commodore… that’s already 15 years ago!
These electronic tracks start sometimes of an acoustic guitar and a voice.

And that’s THE advantage of Soldout: they are not trapped in one style, their music represents a lot more than just electronic music!
