It´s my definition of electropop!“ Nikolaus Niessen a.k.a. Mr. Lofi can´t hide a smile. When he´s asked about his own style of music. Born in Belgium but actually living in Aachen, Germany, Mr. Lofi doesn´t really care about any specific scene rules created by the hype. This could be the reason why you can hear how much fun it can be, playin´ whith two hardware sequencers, vocals and some electro toys.

Cool swinging samba meets hypnotic breakbeat on a vocal trance party, where funky hip hop is celebrating the eighties.....crazy ??
Not at all!! Or should I say: “Absolutely!” Sometimes it seems to be “top of the hype”, then you feel like jumpin´ back twenty years in time.
