Treize a table was born in Roubaix (North of France), after the meeting of Alex, the singer, with young jazz musicians. From bars to venues and festivals, Treize a table made themselves playing live. Followed and encouraged by an enthusiastic public, the band released their first album, "Antonymes" (Antonyms), in 2003. . 2003 is also for the band the year of a greater notoriety : Treize à table leaves the North to play in other places of France and Belgium. Three years after their first album “Antonymes“, Treize a table has just released “La Gaîté des Pavés” (joy of the paving stones), the second album. Made with the French label Mange-Disques Production, the album is produced by Jacques Ehrhart (Camille, Henri Salvador, Alain Chamfort,…), with LH Chambat in Orphéus Studio - Loos (North of France) and masterised in Metropolis studio in London, by Tony Cousins (Massive Attack, Peter Gabriel,…). The album is distributed by L'Autre Distribution, and dealed on-line by Believe Digital (I-tunes, VirginMega,FnacMusic, MSN…).
The videoclip of both singles “les Tempêtes” (the Storms) and “Gloups” (ooops) were broadcasted on French TV (M6, W9, Europe 2 TV, MCM), and on the Virgin Channel. Since March 2006, Treize a table have been seen on several French TVs, and heard on the radios, and has been on different stages too, festivals and venues in Paris, Brussels, and mostly around France.
