 T & MASSON put their name on the map through their work on several big album releases like from The Nomads, Les Infideles or the corse cult-formation Isula as well as with their releases on known compilations like on the Buddha Bar series or Nu Jazz Cafe.
Now the french guys have recorded their first common album „Smoke My Blues“. A very laid-back cool burning Blues-album with downbeat-qualities, skilful lapsteel guitars, rhodes and hammond organ, sung by MASSON and other guest vocalists. When blues meets trip hop… For „Smoke My Blues“ T & Masson invited their musician friends on the album work, in order to create a smoky bars and empty saloons atmosphere with many many drinks. And it worked perfectly. Devil sounds cherish trip hop, an invitation to a talented psychedelic journey… Definitively deep south moist trippy blues, the musicians share the same audacy taste, melting times and references’s streams, subtle trip hop and jazz landscape with acoustic emotion. Fumy groovy voices, crazy lapsteel guitars, with dark hammond sounds a very homey mouth organ form this unique release.
