Throughout his debut album Serious Nonsense, Dynamic explores universal themes such as spirituality, love and death. But Serious Nonsense goes deeper tackling serious timely subjects like integration and cultural conflicts. Whether is it a song about hope (Sunshine) or of the irony of word games opposing Woman and Man (Wo-Man); Dynamic's lyrics highlight the problems arising from relations between people, different races, and their differences (Day One). In the album title Serious Nonsense, Dynamic approaches, with certain irony themes directly related to the dramatic newsreels of our century: the Middle East conflicts, sexual tourism, the exploitation of children, illegal immigrants,... These are the issues to discover through the lucid eye of a globetrotting rapper who has come of age in interesting times.

This album has entirely been recorded and mixed at Studio Z (De Pianofabriek) (except "Nightfall") by Gent sound engineer Sam "Tradd" Van Ryssel of Flowlife Bumz.

Mamadou Ba, a.k.a. Douma, a.k.a. Dynamic, originated from Mauritania. He grew up in New York City which he left for Brussels at the tender age of 11. Approaching manhood at 17, he decided to learn more about his origins. Seeking to go back to his roots, he fled to the African continent to experience Mauritania first hand. But as fate would have it, he ended up in Gambia for one year, where he built up a solid reputation on the airwaves as a radio show host, and as a D.J. in one of the biggest night clubs in the country. His brother Papis (today deceased) later joined him in Gambia and together they founded the hip hop group « Lyrical Ghetto ».

A year later, they moved to Dakar and welcomed a new member in the team, Maxi Krazy (former Kocc Barma member). During his stay in Dakar, Dynamic appeared as a guest on the album of the first hardcore hip hop Senegalese group called Rapadio. He toured the country with this crew that took him from intimate local scenes (villages, block parties) to the biggest stages in the country (Leopold Sedar Senghor Stadium). In 2000 Dynamic returned to Belgium and started his collaboration with Gregory Jones (American producer/manager). Dynamic recorded a couple of demos at K-Kools studio in Antwerp and at Koors in Brussels. His new partner is DeeBlockkk, ex PBS (Positive Black Soul) co-founder. They form the NéGUS crew. Dynamic is the type of artist that is not satisfied with one musical project.

In 2002, he became the MC of « Soul Food USA », an R&B, Soul and Gospel band combining the forces of « Black American roots » represented by Vivica Turrentine (lead vocal), D-Mac (vocals) and Jerrel Lamar (bass) along with international musicians who have paid their respective dues in and outside of their respective countries: Augustin Foly from Togo (guitar), Patrick Dorcean from Haiti (drums), Pieter Van Malderen from Belgium (keys) and Miss Camille from Belgium (vocals). In 2003, while recording his « LuV & H8 » E.P. (auto production/released in 2004), Dynamic was invited to work with the band Cleos Family for the composition of « Thank U ». Their collaboration was a success, and they decided to take the combination further, Dynamic is now the Cleos family M.C. He has performed in close to 100 musical events including concerts, festivals (Couleur Café, Dour Festival, Gentfeest, Polé Polé, Tourcoing Beach Festival, Soul To Soul in Milan, Cactus Club,), parties as a solo artist or with bands like Cleos Family, Le Frap, NéGUS, Funkody Squad, Fat Bird, Studio Pagol, The Freaks,) and more.

In 2004 rehearsals began for Ivo Sans musical project: Le Frap (Free Rap), an explosive mixture of Free Jazz and Rap. The band is composed of Ivo Sans (drums), Adib Garti (bass), Nicolas Ankoudinoff (sax), and Marjolaine Charbin (keys). In July 2005, this 5 set band drove the « Bruxelles Les Bains » public crazy with their unique way of combining Free Jazz with Dynamics rap. In April 2006 they had the honour of being the support act for Japanese band Soil & Pimp Sessions at the AB Club. His latest collaboration happened in early 2006 with Gian P. Marottas band « Freaks ».

Dynamic raps on the first single « Dont Smile » from their third album « Sunstrokes » due to be released in 2006. « Freaks » opened their tour featuring Dynamic. They have been seen at the Botanique, Orangerie during the IHECS Festival and at the Bodega for an amazing show during a « Créma E Gusto » party. Living from one edge to the other, from the luxurious Manhattan City to the African Ghettos, from a non-believer to a spiritual soldier, Dynamic exploits his multicultural experiences allowing him to adapt himself to any situation. His versatility could be easily felt in his debut album « Serious Nonsense » (Z Prod. De Pianofabriek, 18 titles, release due in 2006), which is a long journey through different types of music and lyrical techniques. An album where programmed beats meet live instruments, rappers run along toasters (reggae, ragga) and the hardcore voices of MCs confront the singers lovely melodies. An eclectic album for the Hip Hop lovers and good music supporters...
