Rhinestone Lives

Rhinestone Lives started as in the cold attic bedroom of a teenage girl named Marja around 1998. The first songs were about adolescent heartbreak and anger, strummed on an old acoustic guitar and recorded on an even older 4-track.
Fast forwarding a few agonizing years in various art-schools, Rhinestone Lives takes a more physical form as the first self-titled album is released in 2004. After a few intimate shows around Brussels, the album quickly sells out.

Mystery in me

Roller-coastering her way through life, Exit Wounds takes shape in 2007. This second album already has a more mature sound, with instrumentation and cleverly worked songwriting; a contrast to the first album's rough bareness.
So what's in store for the future? Apart from promoting the hell out of Exit Wounds with the help of Dukeberry Records (www.dukeberryrecords.be), playing as many shows as possible, as solo acoustic and with a full band.
